Fibrwrap Construction Europe Ltd., the Certified Applicator of the Tyfo® Fibrwrap® Systems for Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the CIS Countries, is delighted to announce that the Tyfo® Fibrwrap® Carbon Composite Strengthening Systems have been awarded the General Technical Approval (Allgemeine Bauaufsichtliche Zulassung) by the German Institute for Building Technology (Deutschen Institut für Bautechnik -DIBt).
More specifically, Fyfe Europe S.A., the company dealing with the research, development and technical support of the Tyfo® Fibrwrap® Systems, has successfully proved the capabilities of the Tyfo® Fibrwrap® Carbon Composite Strengthening Systems, Tyfo® SCH-41 and Tyfo® SCH-11UP with Tyfo® S Epoxy for the purpose of repair and strengthening of civil engineering structures.
These composite systems are now the only Carbon Fiber Systems with the General Technical Approval in Germany and Fibrwrap Construction Deutschland GmbH, a Fibrwrap Construction Europe subsidiary with operations in Germany, is already certified to apply and use these technologies.
